Questions we answer for free
Before you spend a dollar, get straight answers. Here are the questions Virginia dog owners ask us most.
How do I know which program my dog needs?+
The free 30-minute consult exists for exactly this. We assess your dog and recommend the right program — private obedience, a board-and-train tier, puppy training, or service work — based on the case in front of us, never on which one we want to sell.
Do you work with aggressive or reactive dogs?+
Yes. Severe reactivity, aggression, and separation anxiety are handled in our 3-week Behavior Modification board-and-train. Any bite history must be disclosed in writing on the program agreement so we can plan safely.
What happens after training ends?+
Every board-and-train includes a structured go-home lesson, tiered in-person refresher sessions, and lifetime trainer chat access for the life of the dog. Training transfers to you — you are not on your own once your dog comes home.
What methods do you use?+
A balanced approach: positive reinforcement to teach new behavior, and fair, clearly communicated corrections to make it reliable in the real world. We explain every tool and every choice on the consult.
Where are you located and who do you serve?+
Our 18-acre training farm is in Newsoms, VA. We serve Suffolk, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, and Franklin across Hampton Roads and Southern Virginia.
